Indian Film Festival Mizoram inaugurated by Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla

Global Haryana News / Delhi : Aizwal, January 23, 2018: The first edition of the Indian Film Festival Mizoram was inaugurated by Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla at a grand ceremony at the state’s largest auditorium Vanapa Hall here today with the opening film being Rahul Mittra produced Amitabh Bachchan starer Sarkar 3.

In an endeavour to promote Mizoram as a preferred destination for both leisure & business, the first of its kind mega event in the state was jointly organised by the Mizoram Government & Innovations India which saw a galaxy of Indian filmmakers led by award winning filmmaker and CEO Wave Cinemas Rahul Mittra accompanied by Savdhaan India host Sushant Singh who’s show enjoys highest TRP ratings in the state.      

Apart from Rahul Mittra, National Award winning film makers like Umesh Shukla & Mikhil Musale, producer Shahnaab Alam, Popular Assamese Actress Zerifa Wahid and the talented Italian Film Maker Katerina Tarbo Ignatenko also attended the festival. Curated by Captain Rahul Bali who’s been successfully organising film festivals internationally, the three day festival is expected to be a huge draw for the locals.
